Industry

Contractor and workforce risk, built for oil and gas.

Turnarounds staffed in days, permit-to-work enforced at entry, and every contractor on site verified to the task they are doing today. GridTen brings the whole record to the operations that carry the most contracted risk.

Where the record does the work

Turnarounds and shutdowns

Hundreds of contracted workers arrive in a window measured in days. Prequalification reads full submissions at intake speed, and gate access admits only workers whose credentials and training match the task.

Permit-to-work discipline

Permit state is part of the entry decision, not a binder at the gatehouse. A lapsed permit or missing isolation training stops at the turnstile with the reason shown.

Heat, fatigue, and lone work

Consent-based worn devices watch for heat strain, fatigue, and falls across pads, tank farms, and remote sites, writing events to the same record as qualification.

Audit and regulator readiness

Every entry decision, override, and incident is logged as it happens, so the evidence exists because the work ran through the system.

Common questions from oil and gas operators

Can GridTen handle turnaround-scale onboarding volume?

The platform is built so review depth does not depend on reviewer headcount. Submissions are read in full as they arrive, and workers are verified against assigned tasks rather than queued behind a manual review backlog.

How does gate access work with our existing turnstiles?

GridTen is designed to connect to access control hardware so the entry decision is driven by the live record. Where integration is not yet in place, the gate decision runs on a handheld at the entry point.

Does the biometric module require every worker to participate?

No. Monitoring is consent-based per worker, with what is measured and who sees it stated up front. It is deployed through a design partner programme for operators who want to shape the rollout.
