Worker health monitoring

Qualification should not stop at the gate.

A worker can be certified, trained, and authorized, and still be in danger by early afternoon. GridTen’s newest platform module extends the record into the shift: consent-based heat strain, fatigue, and fall detection, measured by a worn device.

What the device watches

Heat strain

Physiological load in high-heat work surfaces before it becomes a medical event, so supervisors rotate crews on signal rather than on schedule.

Fatigue

Long shifts and repeated exertion degrade judgment before they degrade output. Fatigue indicators reach the people who can intervene.

Fall detection

A fall or sudden impact triggers an alert with location, cutting the time between the event and the response, especially for lone workers.

Consent first, record always

Monitoring is consent-based per worker, with what is measured and who sees it stated up front. Alerts flow to site supervision, and the record keeps the event, the response, and the outcome. Because it writes to the same record as qualification and gate access, a heat event is part of the operational picture, not an isolated data point.
